I wanted to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving, but please stop and consider those who are homeless. Did you know that Los Angeles has become the #1 capital in the U.S. for homelessness now? Our nation is hurting and we must stop to think about others if we are to turn this nation around and giving to our fellow citizens in need is a major way to help. One place that is in need is the Union Rescue Mission downtown Los Angeles Skid Row area. They... see more
Hello fellow Jobcasers! A few months ago I was contacted to participate in a feature article about Jobcase for Forbes magazine! It was an honor being able to represent for Jobcase, and talk about my personal challenges, struggles, and how Jobcase helped me make a better life for myself. My wish is that everyone here will have a positive experience while you navigate the job market. This is a powerful community, so be sure to make the most of it... see more

After reading some of these comments it woke me up to realize that this is really happening out there. Unprofessional interviewers wasting people's time. I feel much better now. Hey next time you go out I might be your UBER DRIVER!! LOL
I grew up with this guy into early grade school. He's about to get a lot of ink when the new Tom Hanks film opens. He deserves it. I hope we prove we deserved him...
Amazing Social Network for Job Seekers! Loving it!
Thanks to all of you for the support I get from your posts. I am feeling very discouraged in my job search. Every positive post and every post that addresses an issue that I too am experiencing gives me the courage to keep trying.
When you’re out there in today’s market trying to find employment you’re oblivious to others looking right along side of you. It can be intense, frustrating and depressing. Especially when you have a family to care for and bills to pay.
I find stepping back, re-evaluating your skill set and making changes to your key words helps. I recently found an old resume from 14 years ago that showcased skills I hadn’t used in some time and I do plan on... see more
