I’ve applied online about 3 times but never got a response. They advertise plenty of jobs but it’s impossible to get hired.
Are You Ready For Management?
Most of us, during some point in our career will face the opportunity to move into a management role. Making the steps up into a management position may not appeal to everyone, but for those who embrace this step, it is an important professional milestone. Before you embark into a leadership position or rush to accept a promotion you've been offered from your employer, you should spend some time to reflect on your…
I GOT A SECOND INTERVIEW!! FOR MY DREAM JOB!!! I am so happy! I've waited out for this job which directly coincides with my college education. I have a BS in biology, chemistry minor. This morning, they called and asked me to schedule an interview immediately, which leads me to believe they are filling one position because the job is not on their website. It is a quality control lab technician job for a federal job. The pay is the best in the…

I heard back from a recruiter from a local recruiting company and I was wondering why interviewees couldn’t be given a survey about the company they interview at as part of the whole hiring process? As long as individuals are told not to make derogatory or defaming comments abount the prospective company or interviewer, I think the survey could help recruiters to have feedback about each work environment and what culture works best for various…
I applied for a job on Craigslist. A few days later the owner of the company calls me having already made up his mind he wanted to hire me because of my military service. For an interview he had me meet him at Applebee's for dinner where we could discuss compensation, set up my schedule and I could sign the necessary paperwork. So much better than sitting at the end of that long table having somebody say
tell me a little something about yourself…
