Hi everyone, I'd like some neutral advice. I'm sort of at a crossroads right now and figuring out which way to go. I feel it's time after sacrificing all these years to do what will make me happy for a change.

The same thing has been happening to me for the last two years since graduating college. I am 52 and have a bachelors in marketing and have interviewed many times and not been hired.
The employers have passed us by in favor of younger less expensive help.
I am going the self employed route. If you can’t work fir yourself. Then you may have to change careers.

I recently was laid off from a job I had for nearly 8 months. I work for a Temp Labor provider here in Delaware so there were no benefits offered by the construction company I was contracted to.
