I've applied for 250 job positions in my field with not a single one-on-one interview. Two year associate degree in Graphic Design with 18 years of experience along with eight different recruiters/professionals looking at my resume. You would think that the amount of experience over the years would help me out but it doesn't.
Embarkation days are very stressful. You want to make it smooth and be proactive to lessen any potential upset and/or disruption to the guest experience.
