So I'm being fired from my job as a custodian at a high school because my f.b. is to popular with the students.mostly vacation pics and circus and sideshow.the kids like it to much so I'm told I'm to f.b. famous and it distracts the kids from learning.
I just wanna work got fired this close to Christmas an he can't give me a reason crushed
I was Laid Off from my last position 4 yrs ago. Since then have been looking for a job to help supplement my income> I am a Senior Citizen with what I feel is an excellent work ethic. I am dependable & reliable. I know Word, some Quick Books, phone, office machines. I have submitted resumes everywhere but no success. I have even tried WALMART & I was informed I did not pass their assessment test - Really? Guess they don't want anyone with brains & Common Sense
I recently was hired on with company as Production Manager. I was so excited until I started and found out the mess they were in but I observed and by my lunch break on my first day I knew how to fix it. So I went to the owner told him what needed to be done and he said he was on board but his actions told otherwise. When I started all of the people in that department were either let go or quit and the customers were livid. I admit I had some trouble staffing my department but that's with any company. It's hard to find qualified people that are a good fit. The reason none of the people before me were there is because they had been telling lies to customers and weren't qualified. They had caused the issues that the company was facing with irate customers who had contracted for either an addition, remodel or sunroom and had paid all but a few hundred dollars on their contracts but only had holes dug up in their yards. So this is what they were doing when I started they would sell a job and get a deposit he (owner) would then get them on the schedule ahead of other open jobs and go out dig either pier holes or footings and then leave it for months. He has unfinished jobs from beginning of 2016 that to date aren't finished but are paid in full. The quality of workmanship is more than sub par.
When I started I told him he needed to stop selling new jobs, he needed to stop starting sold jobs and he needed to go by contract date and finish up all his open work. If that meant getting a line of credit or taking on investors it needed to be done before he got sued. He didn't listen and continued to sell work that he didn't have personnel that could do that work. Even the jobs that had financing he would submit and get all the funding off the loan and that customers job wasn't even started. Customers were paying payments on loans that services hadn't even been completed on. I worked there no more than 6 - 8 weeks. I worked Monday - Saturday 6 am until typically 7pm sometimes 9pm. I was not reimbursed for fuel, filing cabinet or any of my personal belongings when let go.
Then I had a friend tell me that someone in their family had called The company out for a bid on a sunroom and asked them about the recent news story on them and the salesman gave my name and blamed it all on me. First of all I wasn't there long enough to cause the troubles the company is in and second of all I am NOT the reason for the news story. I did my best but the owner and other managers just wouldn't listen and do what was necessary to fix it. I want to know what I can do about this slander. Any guidance or attorney that is interested in taking this case on please contact me.
They fired me for no reason and i was cleaning and doing my job well
I got fired Bc my two kids had type b flu and the manager said I didn’t keep her posted for 2days when she knew my kids was sick.
I found a part-time job at grooming salon where I was going to be a receptionist, answering calls, setting up appointments and helping out where needed. Well I went to interview for this salon and everything went well I was offered the next day. I started my training where the owner scheduled me for four hours for four days. The first day was I was little nervous , because this was something new to me. When the week finally when I was officially an employee sad that is when things went wrong. I was there early, I ran into the owner who was not suppose to be back until after the holiday showed. I got in with her I started taking down the messages that were left and then I went an check on each client to find out whom their dog last had and where I could fit them in the schedule. I did my best to do this and get back to everyone on top of helping clients check in and out of the salon, however the owner the could see that I was struggling and decided it would best to let me go. ( I wish the owner would have give a little hours for the training time and it's kind hard when the salon is closed on Monday and Tuesday to try and catch up with things), The nicest thing the owner did was add some extra money to the money I made for my training time, I did learn something so as if were to find another job similar to this.
On January 10th I just got terminated from my job . I am still frustrated and sick to my stomach about it and I have applied every where and so far nothing!
I work for BrightStar which is a company that sells Sprint phones and I was fired because I didn't want to sell LG phones over Samsung when I was hired I wasn't told to sell any specific kind of phone over another but when it came down to it I found out the company got a bigger kick back from LG I had my own store at RadioShack and I know it's not the way things are done that company is terrible to work for
