My advice to people interested in working at #Retired as a #Retired ...

My advice was be sure you know what the job was all about. ,Then if it was a job they were interested in and ready to work hard, be willing and able to work with everyone on our crew and you will do great. Oh, and show up for your interview dressed properly. Hope that was OK considering I had no clue what the question about.

A #stressful #Retired day

I was assistant manager for KFC. I arrived for work to open the store just like always. When approaching the door there was a strong smell of gas. I went away from the building and called 911. When help arrived told me one of my crew left the gas on. I finally got in the building so I could open almost an hour late. One of the crew came in so between the two of us we had everything ready to open. Just the two of ur ran that store just us…

Wow!! Way to save the day. Great job.

The biggest mistake I made as a #Retired at #Retired ...

Not knowing how to program the time card machine. I had just started working there. One of the crew was there closing the store so he worked with me to figure it out. Ultimately I had to call another assiastsn manager for help. All we had to do is punch in the system of numbers correctly and close the store. Just a bit emberassed.

I’m retired and bored! Looking for a part time office job, maybe switchboard. I worked at one of the area hospitals and enjoyed the variety.
