I'm at about 50 resumes/applications out in three months. I graduated from a top 10 university and a top 25 graduate school. Over twenty- five years experience and I'm a veteran ( I keep hearing companies want to hire vets). My graduation dates are off my resume as are the dates of my periods of employment. Yes. . . I'm in my 50's but what the HECK is going on?

What are some interview tips that have worked well for you in the past?
I experienced 2 reorg during my career. The first one I was devastated because I did not realize job searching had changed. It was no longer a face to face or a call to set up an interview.
I had even tried going to college because the environment of pressing everyone to go back to school for a ba. It was madness for people over 50+ to go back to school only for credentials to be accepted back into the job market.

I have been out of the working class for about 8 years. Basically because my significant other took care of me and the bills. However I am wanting to get back to work. I've applied to about 25-30 jobs... No call backs. I even went to places I applied to and asked them to look at my application. I am 57 years old and have only worked in restaurants.
