I found this story and many similar ones about people who have been so frugal with their money that they were able to become millionaires from only teacher's salaries even when they had debt and loan to pay off. It seems that with meticulous money saving and spending this couple was able to reach at net worth of $1,084,938 even though they are both teachers and have a son.
