Louisiana Unemployment Customer Services won’t help me!!!

I have been trying to get my Louisiana benefits for 7 weeks now. I was getting benefits before and my funds went out Jan 6, 2020. When the virus hit, they told me to file again. I’m approved For 3200.00 and have received emails telling me my pay, but when I go to file my weekly claim it keeps saying that I didn’t file the week before. Have called every other day and they claimed they fixed it but when I try n file it says the same thing. No one will help me in customer service. Had two of the workers tell me to hold on and never return to the line. Keep in mind I stay on the phone sometimes 2 hours and 40 mins. Who can I talk to besides customer services bc I really need to pay bills n take care of kids. #unemployment

I live In Louisiana and I have reduced hours - because I make more than the $247 max allowed here they have given me nothing..... I make $300 a week which is not paying my bills. Yet the people who are not working at all get $847 a week..... How is this fair - can’t reach anyone at unemployment.... I am so mad that my hours have been cut - it would have been better to be unemployed as everyone is making more money!!!! #coronavirus #louisianaunemployment

Was laid off due to the virus and have been waiting almost 2 months for any type of payment. I finally talked to someone who said my claim was approved yet now the benefits were denied bc I had to start working a seasonal job that paid $20 more in gross one week than my weekly benefit. Cannot reach anyone to help answer questions and am beyond frustrated. How is it I ppl can get their nails done, eat in a restaurant, even go to the gym but the ONE place to help people with unemployment issues is closed?!?!

This is a great opportunity to find a company that is actually hiring in this rough economy. I hope people take advantage of this chance.

Another Great Find Mandy Evers !! The Walmart hiring process has been revised due to quicken the hiring opportunities in response to this initiative.

Here's the new hiring process breakdown:

  • Online Application, takes about 45-60 minutes to complete. No Resume Required!

  • Interview, pre-screen phone interviews ONLY. If all goes well a verbal job offer is made at the end of the call.

  • If job offer is accepted, Walmart's hiring manager will email the candidate a job offer confirmation and background check details.

  • Final Step... New hire is scheduled to attend the "Welcome to Walmart." employee Orientation.

The whole hiring process only takes a few days as long as applicants are able to progress through these stages successfully :-)

I have 1099 all the way back to 2014 from people I've done work for. Am I not eligible for benefits or ami???? PLEASE HELP!!! #unemployment
