What I loved working at #UniversityofKansasHealthSystemMarillacCampus

My co-workers were exceptionally dedicated. This was very important given the sensitive nature of their patients.

Thanks for sharing your experiences with the community, Heather Woodward !

Social Work Interview

I was called yesterday for a job interview. I interviewed today for a social work position with a retirement/skills assistant facility. I lacked experience working as a social worker with the elderly. However, I worked with the elderly in the late 80s and early 90s as a private nursing assistance. The interviewer stated that I had the social work skills that she was looking for. I have heard this over and over again, but never hire. I was told…

If you get a call back, it's probably for either another interview round with other people you'd be working with, or some sort of…

Bullying in Healthcare

I was terminated after 17 1/2 years of working for a hospital that I considered my Alma mater. Unknowingly to me I was working with women who were jealous of my skills to do my job. Because I wouldn't cave to their bullying. They got together to create lies about me that they went to the manager and HR.
I was never given the chance to grieve the lies that were told on me before being terminated.
I was devastated and broken by a system that I…

It’s true that HR is there for management but they are supposed to be fair. Primarily female workplaces are tough. I’m a former…

A #stressful #Advancedpodiatry day

The day i quit.i loved our pts and wking there but my job performance was not what it should be too much going on in my life the stress was too much.i couldnt give my job at that time the focus i needed to.i love wking in the medical field but i needed a break to get myself together now l feel better and am hoping to go back to being a ma.

My advice to people interested in working at #Advancedpodiatry as a #Ma ...

Dr sekosky dr botte and dr richards are very good docs who care about their pts.they can teach you alot about giving pts quality healthcare and providing pts with the info they need to get the help they need the best gift a dr recieves is the referral of another pt

When I worked at #iworkatnursehome I gave great advice when
