The most important lesson I learned at school was

That I wasn't as smart as I thought I was. The program was grueling. It took 4 years to complete. I had a GPA of 2.5 until I went out on clinical rotation. On the job, I did great. GPA went to 4.0 and I made the deans list my last year there. After graduation the student is eligible to register in ECHO, cath lab, pulmonary testing and vascular studies. I chose cath lab but also did cardiac ECHO.

Did you do your Homework?

Everyone one of us wants/needs to stand out when we get a coveted in-person interview.

Homework: Use Google to do some basic research. What exactly does the company do, what is there product? Where are they Headquartered at? How many employees? How many different locations do they have? And often you can find out has any of their jobs already been outsourced out of the country, or even to other companies. What are their short and long…

Great advice!! Are you available to be my life coach ? Lol you probably would be awesome !!! Thanks for some truly priceless info…

Interview with minimal questions!

Went to an interview the other day. I wasn't asked many questions. He really just explained what the position intails & benefits. I did try to sell myself as much as I could. I have over 15 years experience as medical receptionist . But not sure what to make of this. Has anyone else ever experienced this type of interview?

Yes literally 2 questions....it was a panel of interviewers. All they did was explain the job and show us (there were two of us…

Well I received a call from @$#! who stated she would love to offer you the position...HOWEVER..... its a promotionary position, and since you are NOT a state worker we can not offer it to you! Jobless

Help! I can’t seem to find a job. I had to quit my last job because management was so unprofessional, getting in my face, stealing out of my desk, cussing, saying very rude comments, it was horrible!

I have been looking ever since, (5 months). I have experience, a Health Science degree, licensed phlebotomists, and Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant .

I’m desperately seeking part time because I have a special needs child at home. I don’t…

I'm in the same boat as you are Brandy. I just finished up a 160 hour TEFL course and am awaiting my certificate. With this…

The greatest thing I enjoyed about working for #AmericanRedCross was

Was helping people when they needed it most. We found a weakness in the area and we found a way to help by creating a program especially for the elderly. Problem with transportation to training programs to meet the needs of a community and not a 9 to 5 job but 24 hour services. I think disaster services was my favorite because you never knew what was going to be needed. We were creative and we were able to teach as well as learn from others.

I volunteered at the ARC in Japan . yes, it was fulfilling and rewarding work. I was the hypertension nurse for the 313th medical…

Frustrated

I would love anyone’s thoughts on this topic. The latter part of my resume almost looks like I was job hopping win that is absolutely not the case. I stay at a good employer for as long as possible, and about four years ago I left A wonderful position due to going through a divorce at the time. I felt it more respectful to leave without making mistakes and getting fired and me and this doctor still have a personal relationship to this day. But…

I don't think that your resume sounds like the problem. If you're unsure of whether your latest interview had given u a good guy…

Great companies to work for.

I have to say, the best companies to work for are UCLA Health, Kaiser Permanente and Dignity Health. I currently work for UCLA and have been working in this great company for seven years, is time to move on and enhance my knowledge. My next path will be Kaiser or Dignity Health.
