If you are married driving over the road then you better have a strong relationship or you will be divorce
If you think you nailed that interview or the recruiter said,
Keep in touch, don't just sit and wait for the phone to ring with a job offer. Instead, be proactive. There are things you should do after a job interview that can increase the odds of getting a second interview or landing a job offer.

I will keep this short, but I have been on here since being laid off since March of this year. I assumed the job search would not be as difficult as I have experience in Telecom/IT. I was wrong. I admit I did get some offers to contract, but they were out of state and I could not work those positions as I am a single father and my youngest son just entered high school. I finally got a position with Delta Global Services (DGS). It is subsidiary of... see more

Those of you out there who have driven for Lyft--I would love your feedback, as I am considering doing so to pick up some extra income. What was your experience like? Did you end up having to drive into bad neighborhoods? Did you feel safe? Did you find that most passengers gave decent tips and fair evaluations? Did your passengers mess up or damage your car? Were your earnings worth the time (and car expense) that it took to get them? Thanks in... see more
I started off homeless. Got a job at Burgerking while sleeping on a friends couch. I went from there to hotel housekeeping. My friend lost her apartment, so I was homeless once again; all the while I continued to work. I ended up renting a room. Shortly after landing the new job I was in a bus accident which caused a back injury. I lost my job. While on unemployment I did my job searches and landed a job, in which I still have to this day (over 2... see more

So I sent a copy to the lady who called me. Has anyone else ever had this problem? Am I going to have to do this again? I dont want to cut my... see more
I thought I might share my experience. I'll try to not make it too long, but if it is I do apologize in advance. I graduated from pharmacy school May 2017 and obtained my Pharm.D. I knew that wasn't enough so I took some time off and studied for both my Naplex and MPJE (Pharmacy State Law Exam). It took me 6 months to be really prepared for the Naplex, and at least 4 weeks for the MPJE. Once I passed both exams and obtained my... see more
I had two great interviews. Invited back to meet the team and informed I would be offered a position. Recruiter contacted me and we appeared to come to an agreement as to compensation. Two days later, I'm told they want to look at other candidates. Some say, they likely couldn't afford your salary but I would expect a counter offer if that was the case. Thoughts?
