It's definitely hard to figure out what to do next. I landed two jobs in 2016, but they were horrible fits -- absolutely horrible. I don't want to experience this ever again.

At new locations you are responsible for the grand opening. Vendors which have to be approved by corporate and in a small town you often only have the one vendor. They also require a contract which they run via legal which often takes weeks. Then getting a check cut from corporate for the vendors was a disaster. No one in Houston has the concept of small town. I was given three weeks to find tent rentals, chairs, food, clowns, radio entertainment, photographer, decorations, chamber for ribbon cutting, media, fire department trucks, etc with no budget amount, no idea on volume and then corporate that slow played every bit of the process. Finally on the day of the grande opening staff showed up at leisure and my boss over slept and showed up two hours late. No one knows what they are doing and no support.

Please be very careful of your surroundings and the people that you work with, because if you're not in a click with them and if they don't like you, they will get you fired real quick care about what you are there to do do your job and go home,give a Dam about your resident's

Don't do it. So many better places in Portland to work. Management will treat you great for the first 90 days then it all goes down hill.

The hardest thing was dealing with unprofessional people they did not put dates on products things were often found Moded in the fridgerator or the display case there was no space to work because it was such a mess and disposable products that's supposed to be thrown in the garbage was often used over and over and over again Cakes were also made about five days in advance from the customers pick up date which set out on the rack instead of being put into a refrigerator so the cakes are not fresh when you pick it up it was a horrible experience
