Two truckers share their stories

Meet Nailah and Martin!

Two different people who truly love what they do, which is driving a truck.

Sometimes in life, you need to think outside of the box.

When a friend suggested that Nailah attend truck driving school she stood in front of her in high heels and a dress and thought NO way was this for her. Today she happily says, “I am in a place where I don’t have to want for anything. I am happy. I don’t have bill collectors calling me…

I am not a person that would want to drive a Semi

Lessons We Learn or Regret

Here are some of the biggest takeaways I read on an article online, that you can learn and take with you to help as you take charge of your career (in whatever form that takes). As I look back on these lessons, I realize that they're really great reminders for us all.

Confidence Must Comes First
- Successful people exude confidence - it's obvious that they believe in themselves and what they're doing. Think about it...

  • Doubt breeds doubt

This is an amazingly great post! Full of inspiration at a time when I need it most, so thank you for sharing...

YOUR LIFE IS ABOUT TO CHANGE! (Courage is the Master Key.) [IBYC]

PLEASE READ THIS NOW! (It's all about the courage in YOU!)

For the most part of life, perhaps, no one actually walks up to you to tell you that, you're the best, I see great potential in you or you can make it if you try. That's not the environment we live in today.

However, the lion's environment is quite different. When he/she is little baby cub, his father and mother instills strong values in him such as, Your MUST triumph over tragedy, You…

Finally hired!

I am 57 years old and have been looking for a job every single day since mid-February this year. Ageism is real but I've beat the odds. On average it takes someone over 55 10 months to find that gem of an employer who is not an ageist. I start my new job tomorrow...almost 7 months to the day from when I started my search. My preferred field of Administrative or Executive Assistance is particularly a tough one since men prefer to hire the cutie…

Thanks Amen

Courageous Leadership in Business

I'm studying this morning for my leadership class again. I just found my library books. I want to apologize to those here on Jobcase that sought my resume help who couldn't pay and I didn't know how to bend my policy. If you can't pay for example no credit or debit card or afraid I could be a scammer, I'm not trying to hurt anyone. I have donated some money to charity but I needed some money for groceries too. I turned down Kohls job to help you…

Thank you for sharing, Lucinda!! We are definitely wishing you luck as you continue to build your business to help others!

Picture of courage...

Just realized this is the anniversary of Rosa Parks insisting on dignity. MLK, Jr. said “The arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends towards justice.” How lucky that we have had great people like Rosa Parks to give a little needed push on this 'arc' along the way!
