What are some interview tips that have worked well for you in the past?
I did not visit the members to pray for them.
Working and helping the kids seeing them improve even if something small I will continue to work with them to get better
Working with children and helping them connect to God is so rewarding. Hearing their stories and realizing the capacity for strength that some of these kids has is inspiring. It helps me to be a better follower of Christ. Sometimes we are the only example of Christ that these kids have.
Working the evening shift and getting close to closing time and finding a patron not in any hurry to leave so that
staff could begin shut down.
I started off as a volunteer doing Holds. From there I joined one of their book clubs and when a part time position opened after
volunteering for about a year I applied for the position and began working in the circulation department. It was a great learning experience. Being close to home was great.
