Trying to stay positive

I moved to my new town in March of this year to help my mom take care of her household and my grandfather who has lost 80% of heart function. I have to take my brother to school everyday 30 min from where we live and I also have to pick him up. I also help my grandmother with my…

Too Old to Hire

I thought I had it in the bag. Education? Check. Experience? Check. Great Interview? Check. Offer? Nope. It's hard for a 66 year old. Believe it.

I have had companies ask me what year did you graduate, then just hang up on me. I thought this was age discrimination.

I was acknowledged I was outstanding but all of a sudden after my…
