Im passing the 9 month mark of being unemployed. I get calls telling me they will call me back but they dont. Agencies havent helped me even though they tell me my resume is excellent. They tell me they have nothing but then I see them post jobs for which im qualified for. I have lost my home since I became unemployed. I am now living 50 miles from houston, willing to commute and I am having no luck.
You may think of self-reflection as more of a personal pursuit related to overall happiness and wellbeing, but being self-reflective can help you to get (and better keep) your next job.
When you reflect on your career, you can uncover some interesting truths about yourself like...
- What motivates me?
- Where do I want my life/career to go?
- Do I feel satisfied with my life/career so far?
- What kind of person/employee am I/ do I want to be?

Trusting people that worked there not to stab you in the back to get promotions or raises
Don't do it - no insurance and only if you suckup to the bosses do you get promoted
