Have you been wondering what your state is doing for the upcoming November election? I know I have!
So I found a great resource for every state and wanted to share with everyone. You can find all the information if you want to apply for an absentee, the dates you need to have ballots postmarked by, and more.
If you aren't registered to vote yet or don't know if you are, you can find that out here too! Make sure your voice is heard this November!
I’m at my wits end. Let me begin by saying I had been laid if at the last week of last year. I was making headway getting interviews during Jan-March. THEN COVID19 hit. And that not only shut down the country but decimated the industry I had my career in graphic artist in apparel in NYC. Though the economy is crawling back finding a job is still difficult for myself and many people I know in their late 50 +. I have applied to FedEx, Home Depot Target Amazon Burlington but no luck. I look at things on all kinds of websites but crossing over into other fields requires experience they look for in those fields.
Morally I’m against lying on a resume but should one lie and create a resume designed for what job they applied for to get a return call? #jobsearch
I go by a quote. " Where there is a WILL there is a WAY". I have been temping for three years. With two different agencies. I been placed in some great assignments. Something in my life always happen so I couldn't stay in the position. I am a dedicated worker and always loved where I go. I have finally landed a great job. I didn't think I would because I was pregnant and I didn't think I could land it on time. I did. I was so relieved and worked so hard to meet the goal with little experience. Now I have a baby girl and a great job. You can do anything you set your mind too. It may take time and it may be hard but the effort needs to be there.
