Last week I had the best interview of my life. After the interview was over they brought me in to HR for an orientation packet, they photo copied my id and I was asked where I was salary wise. Before I finished the packet, the HR person had to go and said to bring it home with me. The person I interviewed with, said everything would be alright and to give her a call on Wednesday. Again, the HR person said don't worry nothing is wrong, I am... see more

She sounds very unprofessional getting your hopes up then telling you that you don't have the job.

Contact your HR Dept and let them know you took the position to work evenings and were told upon hiring that it would be 2 weeks then you would start and that hasn't happened yet and it's beginning to disrupt your husband's schedule with whom he is the bread winner in the family

Remember to cc your supervisor on the bottom of the letter

Unfortunately, many managers who work in -human resources have very little humanity in them. Rather than understanding and empathizing with the candidate, rather than treating others as they would want to be treated, they do everything by the book by enforcing company rules. This reflects the attitude of upper management.

I was interviewed twice for the same job with a month's time and after the second time I was informed later by HR that I was not a candidate (and not even for a sub) because I failed the oral interview. I never heard of such a thing! I then thanked them for the message and then asked what my weak points were and what would I need to improve on next time. I didn't get an answer on that yet. Are the HR people supposed to tell me what my weak... see more

It’s been a little over 3 months since leaving my previous employer. I left for various reasons, primarily because I refuse to work in a verbally abusive atmosphere where I had been threatened and accosted by another coworker (for which there was no recourse because HR was non existent). I have submitted applications EVERY single day and not gotten a single response. Not even an automated email saying they’ve decided to move forward with other... see more
