After twelve months of working at Starbucks, retail hourly partners begin to accrue vacation leave. At first, you can get up to 40 hours of paid vacation time, but employees who work for 60 months or more can get up to 120 hours.

Starbucks offers its Future Roast 401(k) savings plan to eligible partners, where you can contribute between 1% and 75% of your pay.
Starbucks offers a generous company match for the first 4% of your contributions. The board of directors can also decide to provide an enhanced 6% match for the year. This changes every year.
The Stock Investment Plan allows employees to purchase stock at a 5% discount. You can contribute between 1% and 10% of your base pay for each pay period.
They also have an equity reward called Bean Stock. With Bean Stock, the board of directors evaluates the company’s performance and grants stock options to eligible employees.
Retail hourly partners may be eligible for six weeks of paid parental leave. They can also choose to have up to 12 weeks of unpaid leave.
Corporate employees in non-retail roles can access up to 12 weeks of paid parental leave.

But when do these benefit plans kick in? Let's take a look.
Full-time partners become eligible for Starbucks benefits on the first day of the month after 60 days of employment.
Hourly partners become eligible for Starbucks benefits after getting paid for a minimum of 240 hours over a three-month period. The clock starts on the first day of the first month after you start.
If you work more hours in a given week or month, that’s okay. All you need to do is meet your 240-hour requirement during a calendar year quarter.
After 90 days of employment, you’re also eligible for Starbucks’ 401(k) program and its Stock Investment Plan.
To be eligible for Bean Stock, you need to be a Starbucks employee as of May 1 of the fiscal year before the grant date. You also need to have been paid for 360 hours during that fiscal year.

Starbucks offers competitive pay and values its employees. Soon, all US store partners will make a minimum wage of $15 per hour.
For most partners, their average salary will be closer to $17 per hour.
Those who have been working at Starbucks for more than two years will get a pay increase of at least 5%. For partners who have been there longer than five years, there'll be a pay increase of at least 7%.
