I am currently a Platoon Sergeant (E7) in a combat engine unit in California Army Nationl Guard (CARNG). I have served in the National guard as a reservist for over 20 years and part of the California Counterdrug program for 18 years. I have two combat deployments which have taken me to Iraq and Afghanistan for one year each and a non combat deployment to Qatar for another year. I have served with DEA, The San Diego Sheriff's department and Border Patrol thought out my military career. Although I am a demotion expert I am perficient with operating heavy equipment such as the grader and the backhoe. I now lead Soldiers, but I look forward to serving my country as a DOD dog trainer for service members in need of k9 assistance. Thank you for taking the time to read my story.
