Full-time Kroger employees are eligible for affordable health insurance and life insurance. There are three health care coverage plans to choose from, and you’ll get general medical, dental, and vision coverage. You’ll also get prescription medications at a reduced cost.
To take advantage of these healthcare benefits, you’ll need to have been working for a minimum period. The timeframe will depend on the location of the grocer and your hours. Current employees suggest the waiting period ranges from six months to one year.
Kroger employees are entitled to paid time off (PTO). The length of vacation leave depends on how long you’ve been working there, how many hours you work per week, and your experience.
Full-time employees commonly receive up to seven days of vacation leave after one year of work. After three years, you can expect two weeks. Vacation leave continues to rise, with long-term employees receiving up to 30 days.
Staff also receive two paid personal days, with an extra day added per year. There’s a maximum of five personal days per year.
Kroger Co offers full-time workers limited sick leave.
Kroger has a generous 401K plan. You can allocate how much of your wage you want to contribute to your pension plan. You can add up to 75% of your salary.
